Feeling stuck in your job search?
We’ve all had that experience where it feels like we’re in a game of Monopoly, stuck in jail while everyone else is buying prime real estate and building hotels.
When that happens in our family, we visualize rolling doubles to get out and even sometimes chant, “Doubles, doubles.” That visualizing is critical.
But visualizing is not all there is to manifesting. Actions must follow beliefs.
Yes, there are cycles of great outward action and rest and replenishment. Even at times when nothing seems to be happening, figure out how you can take action. Do you need to take a course, join an organization, or do some deep thinking about what you want your next steps to look like?
Pro tip: If something just popped into your mind that needs doing, but you dismissed it as impossible, irrelevant, or scary, I encourage you to take a second look at the thought. Having a dismissive and/or fearful reaction to something is often a sign that it’s exactly what needs doing.
How are you taking action to ready yourself for the day when your vision of the future comes to pass?
How are you assisting fate in making it happen? Would an outside observer see from your actions that you’re committed to making your vision a reality?
From all of me to all of you,
P.S. If you’d like to see me musing on this action-taking stuff during my pre-dawn, snowy Chicago walk, take a peek!
